Wishlist #2

I know, I know, I do a whole lotta wishin’. The trouble is, I am often sat at my desk to do work and I accidentally end up scouring the pages of my favourite stores for hours and hours and getting no work done. However, I have come up with a master plan and that is that if I open up Photoshop and put together a post for this blog, it’s not a complete waste of my time and there is some productivity in my Sunday. Gold stars all round.

It seems recently I’ve been lusting after leather, and not the false, synthetic type – the good stuff. Around the summer of last year I decided that staple items are definitely worth parting with pennies for because they will last you a life time. Buy cheap, buy twice. I do think that leather goods are timeless and so for this list I’ve assembled my four favourite pieces, all of which are available now.

The first pick, and the most expensive, is this Leather Jacket from & Other Stories. I do have a faux leather jacket which I have worn to the death however it’s now nearly three years old and just looks a little thin, worn and lack lustre. I am already excited for the day when I’ve saved up enough money to buy this jacket, I just know it’s a worthy investment.

Again from & Other Stories (love) are these leather brogues. Another staple item for both smart and casual attire and a reliable shoe for comfort. I love the simplicity of these shoes, and everything on this list, they are again completely timeless and another worthy investment that I may start collecting my coppers for.

Next up, again & Other Stories is this chic leather card holder. I have been in the market for a card holder for a good while because I just have too many points cards, and sometimes wish I had the convenience of just pulling out an understated pouch holding my most important plastics. Handy for clutch bags too.

Finally from Topshop is this dual pouch cross-body bag, a budget buy which is still real leather and is perfect for shopping and the upcoming (?) festival season. I am in need of an everyday back which is of smaller size than my regular tote styles because frankly, you don’t always need to carry three years worth of out of date diaries and the kitchen sink with you.

Do you love leather? What are you lusting after?
